I have been in construction estimating and sales for over 20 years. We utilized project tracking tools to keep track of each given project, sales forecasting sheets, subcontractor and vendor procurement lists, and proposal distribution lists, and each needed to be individually populated. I always required to obtain bids from lower tier contractors, and while sometimes as a prime contractor, most often submitted my bids to the general or higher tier contractor. Often, I would not receive my subcontractor bids until hours or even minutes before my bid was due. I would then need to frantically submit my bid to the general contractors.

 

I knew there had to be a better way.
